Capac Community Schools/MASB
Position Details:

Capac is a village of about 2,000 residents located on the western edge of St. Clair County, approximately forty-five miles north of Detroit. In the past 20 years, Capac has grown from a small farming community to a thriving business and residential area. The district has an enrollment of just over 1,000 students.  Capac consists of an elementary school (K – 6), a Jr./Sr. High School (7 – 12) as well as a virtual education program for students in grades 6 – 12. All schools are within walking distance of Main Street.

The school system is the hub of many activities in this peaceful community. Capac’s students’ test scores are above the state average and their graduation rate is at 97%, which is 20% higher than the state average. This, in part, can be attributed to the dedicated teaching and administration teams that are focused on the success of children. Capac also has strong support personnel who regularly display district loyalty and commitment. Parents in the district take lead roles in order to ensure additional activities and club opportunities for students after school, on weekends and during the summer. Kids come first at Capac.
