Position Details: 


  • Associate’s Degree Or Equivalent Education Experience
  • Ability To Communicate Effectively In Written And Oral Form
  • Minimum Of Three (3) Years School Based Food And Nutrition Services Or Related Experience
  • Registered Dietitian With The Overseeing Nutritional Standards
  • Experience In Quantity Food Preparation
  • Experience In Food Procurement
  • Experience With Food Service Automation Systems


  • Menu Planning
  • Bid Development
  • Nutritional Analysis Of Meals
  • Quality Assurance Of Food Items
  • Monitoring Of School Cafeteria Operations

Duties Of This Position Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Plan Meals Meeting USDA Recommended Nutritional Requirements Within Established Budgetary Constraints
  • Oversees And Coordinates The Daily Operation Of The District’s Food Service Program
  • Monitoring Food Usage To Assure Adequate Supply
  • Providing Quality Assurance by Monitoring Food Items For Taste, Smell, And Appearance
  • Conducting reviews of school cafeterias to evaluate the effectiveness of the food and nutrition services operations
  • Evaluating personnel
  • Other Duties As Assigned
