POSITIONS: Substitute Custodian - Afternoon Shift/Part-Time; Could lead to full time union position with benefits


  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver License Required
  • Possess good habits, character and attendance records
  • Be neat and clean in appearance
  • Ability to work alone and within a group to complete tasks
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions
  • Ability to read instructions and follow verbal and written directions
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop and squat as part of daily job duties
  • Ability to work outside and in inclement weather conditions


  • Clean and sanitize all school locations as scheduled daily
  • Perform event setups, tear downs and cleanup as needed
  • Operate and maintain all equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks
  • Snow removal from building perimeter
  • Work from ladders, scaffolding, or swing stages as necessary to perform assigned duties
  • Maintain good public relations through assisting staff, students and non-school personnel
  • Adhere to all established work practices, safety standards, work rules, policies and other instructions, including OSHA, Right-To-Know, Blood Borne Pathogens, etc

WAGES: Part-time substitute wages $12.00 per hour; Full-time union wages starting at $13.42 - $18.76
