POSITION AVAILABLE:

 

Anderson Elementary Principal – Grades K-2

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Education Leadership/Supervision
  • Must possess valid Michigan Certificate
  • Must meet administrator continuing education requirements or possess valid Michigan Administrator Certification
  • At least 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience   

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Curriculum Leadership Experience
  • Previous Administrative Experience
  • Early Elementary Teaching Experiences

 

 

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to excellence in maintaining an educational program of high quality
  • Knowledge of school improvement process
  • Knowledge of state curriculum and testing requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Mastery Learning precepts
