Assistant/Associate Professor of K-12 Educational Leadership (Tenure-track) (#80148)

Central Michigan University seeks a tenure-track faculty colleague to join a dynamic and accomplished community of faculty, students, and staff in the following full-time tenure-track position beginning August 2020. Our growing programs are CAEP accredited and offer a comprehensive range of programming leading to master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees.

Required Qualifications: 

  •  Earned doctorate in educational leadership or administration, or related field; ABD will be considered, so long as it is clear the degree will be conferred by time of appointment;
  •  Ability to teach a variety of courses in education administration and leadership, or education research;
  • Ability to support student research and direct student dissertations;
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in a higher education setting;
  • Demonstrated record of, or potential for research and publication at state, national, or international levels;
  • Experience as an administrator in a Pre-K-12 setting;
  • Demonstrated ability or willingness to teach in an online environment.
